“Goodbye, Ruby Tuesday” is something we hope we can sing to this girl very soon. Having come to us in late 2017 after a lengthy shelter stay, Ruby Tuesday has been adopted and returned twice. Each time, her adopters loved her sweet affectionate nature and were quite sad to let her go but Ruby needs an experienced dog owner who will commit to creating and maintaining a stable and structured environment. She can become possessive of people and things, so she cannot live with children. When off leash, she does well with other dogs but she becomes over excited seeing another dog when she is on a leash. At home, she needs to be the only dog, without even a cat. Ruby Tuesday has reacted to fear and uncertainty by biting, so she needs a person who knows both her triggers and how to redirect her. When she is managed properly, the rewards of having a devoted companion for life are far greater than the challenges of having an imperfect pet. Ruby Tuesday weighs 15 pounds and is spayed, micro chipped, and current on all vaccines. Be the one who helps her catch her dreams and you will be rewarded with a gem, Ruby Tuesday.
