Hi, my name is Jackson, and I am a sweet little one year old male who weighs about 20 pounds. I am currently living in Littleton. I was in a shelter in Kansas, and they transferred me to Denver because they thought I could find my forever home here in Colorado. I may have been in a crate for a good part of my life because my back legs seem a little bit stiff for a 1 year old. I also don’t yet understand this thing they call a leash, but I’m a quick learner, so I bet I’ll figure it out soon. I like other dogs, and I currently live in a foster home with four canine friends and one cat. I get along well with all of them. I just got “fixed” – whatever that is! My foster mom thinks I have been house trained – no accidents yet! I am shy around humans, but after a while I get used to you and can cuddle up on the couch. I am cute, lively, and playful. I have a little white bear face, and a great fur coat. I would love to be a part of someone’s life and take my new human friend on walks and play with them in the yard. Good with Dogs, Good with Cats

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
