Hi! My name is Oliver and I am looking for my new home. I was adopted by a family a few years ago when there were kids and another dog and a cat. Unfortunately, things have changed with them and the kids are now grown and the other dog is also gone and my adoptive parents now travel a lot for work. So instead of being left alone all the time while they do their work and travel, they want me to find a new home where I can be with people. And I think that’s the best thing too because I love being around and playing with my people! I LOVE to go on walks. I’m an expert on a leash and would love to go walking with you. I also am good at listening when I’m told to heel. I’m just a great walker! I like to play fetch too with the tennis ball…so much fun! I love my other toys too whether it’s a fun stuffed toy or a rawhide…they are all fun. And I don’t destroy them; I just like to play with them. I am the best house dog too. Of course I am housetrained and will ask when I need to go outside. Sometimes I decide I want to stay outside when I’m called in…I can sometimes be a little stubborn that way. But if you offer me a little treat, I will gladly come in right away. I have my own schedule for when I go to bed and when I wake up. And you probably won’t be able to change it. I always ask to go outside to go potty at 8:30 p.m. and then I head straight to bed. I wake up every day at 6:30 a.m. – you can set your clock by me! But I would be happy to be your morning alarm clock. :) I do fine riding in a car and like to go places. I have spent some time in doggie daycare and do really well there. I am healthy and don’t have any other issues for you to be aware of. You won’t have to worry about me…I’m a great companion and am very affectionate. Well, that’s me.
