Meet beautiful Coco!  This sweet senior came from a shelter in PA.  He was owned by an older gentelman who could no longer care for him.  Coco does have kidney disease and will need to be on a special diet for life.  He is a cuddler and a great dog.  He is up for sponsorship but we would consider adopting him out to the right person/family!  Unitl then he is safe and sound with his foster mommy. Update on Coco since I have had him, he is such a wonderful baby, he seems like such a happy boy. He does like to sleep at my feet for part of night, then goes to floor and sleeps next to bed. He and Casper get along, they just don't seem to pay much attention to the other. They will lay close together when they lay down though. We are still working on his diet because he does not like the prescribed food for him. As mentioned he can possibly be adopted to the right person/family who is willing to take a special needs senior. Coco would be a great addition to a wonderful, loving person/family, he likes loving, and is very loveable.

Good with Dogs

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
