Rosabelle ("Rosy") is a 2 1/2 year old female American Eskimo who has spent her entire life in a cage. Despite being very sweet, she has a lot of anxiety and compulsive behaviors that need work. Little things tend to spook her, i.e. like a loud noise. Having spent her life in a cage, she is still learning how to be a dog. She will need training, love, and care to become the best companion she can be. Rosy is timid and quiet. She's got tons of energy and loves to run around the back yard. Her favorite thing is cuddling; she is the proverbial velcro dog. Rosey is doing well with all other dogs in her foster home, and pretty much ignores the cats and rabbits.
We do not know how she will do with small kids, but we suspect she will be okay with calm, older kids. She is very food motivated, so we believe she would steal food from a child walking around with some. We won't say that raising Rosy is going to be easy as pie, but this girl has so much love, intelligence, and drive to give that the work you put in will be paid back ten fold. please fill out an adoption applicationa at https://www.haventohome.org/forms/form?formid=1362
