Charlie is a 7year 4month old purebred American Eskimo Miniature Dog. He's lived with his current family his entire life, but has had a very difficult time adjusting to the new baby. Charlie is a vocal dog, as you'd expect from his breed. He'll let you know if anyone is approaching your apartment, or at your door. We've worked on this together quite a bit and he's gotten much better with consistent training. Charlie has a history of some resource guarding that has led to two bites. He has also bitten people who had ignored his body language when trying to interact with him. Charlie is a very expressive dog who is generally easy to read and he will let you know if he's uncomfortable. Charlie takes a little bit to warm up to new people, but once he does is a very sweet, cuddly, and affectionate dog. He loves treats, is exceptionally easy to train, and loves to play. Charlie would do best in a low traffic home away from the city, with no small children. He would be a wonderful companion for the right family.
