***PLEASE NOTE: Zak will be available for adoption at a later date, after he has completed his training. If you're interested in adopting him, please complete our online Adoption Application on our website (under "Forms" on left side of page). Thank you for your interest, and understanding. Zak is a lovable little guy who will be ready for his forever home soon! He's 3 years old, weighs about 19 pounds, walks well on a leash, house trained, crate trained, and completely vetted. He's a very happy boy, and will give you hugs once he trusts you! He would do best in a home where he gets daily walks. where he can continue his training exercises, and he would love a 'sibling' to play with. A fenced yard would be great, but he also loves to run and walk on a leash. Zak also enjoys going to doggie daycare; he has been in groups with up to 25 dogs at a time and has done very well. He can be cautious at times when meeting new people, so an adopter with Eskie experience is preferred. He does well with older children; however young children may cause his herding instinct to kick in, so we will not adopt him to a home with young children. We would like Zak to be adopted by someone living in Florida, and preferably within 3-4 hours of Vero Beach. If you're interested in adopting him, please fill out our Adoption Application.
