Hi, Ming here! I’m a little Eskie with a great big name.......Ming is short for Remington. I am a neutered 1-1/2 year old male, I weigh about 13 pounds, and I’m looking for my forever home. Would that be you? My current family is REALLY busy and active with 5 kids, 2 other dogs and 3 cats. I’m kind of getting lost in the mix, and my mommy knows I would be so much happier in a quieter home where I could be.....let’s just say it.......THE ADORED PRINCE. I love laps and cuddling. I’d prefer my forever home to be lower activity and ideally, to have someone home most of the time. I want my one-on-one time. My mommy says I have so much personality (well, ALL us Eskies do!) and I am just sweet and adorable. I generally like all people, but I get a little anxious around strangers and men. I love my Daddy and the teenage boys that are always hanging around the house, but older men, and especially men wearing a hat, scare me. I would be happiest in a home with a woman or a husband/wife where the man is calm, laid back and very non-threatening. For a youngster and for an Eskie, I am not particularly high energy (So that means compared to other dogs I'm high energy, LOL). Right now I hang out in the backyard, but would really love a home where I could get a nice walk and see the sights twice a day. I’m quite good on a leash. I get along well with other dogs, cats and kids, but would prefer a home with less of all of them. I want to be the star! Well.....maybe another Eskie would be okay....... Like all Eskies, I have a beautiful double coat that requires monthly attention (brushing, trimming up the rear end, trimming my nails). And yes, I shed.......but the monthly grooming really helps with that. Also, like most Eskies, I like to be heard - so I do bark when there is lots of activity going on and I get excited, but I’m not an incessant barker. Mommy doesn't think a condo or apartment would be an ideal home for me, though. Sorry. I am located in Lebanon, Ohio (a little north of Cincinnati). Depending on where you live, and only for the perfect forever home, my Mommy is willing to transport within a few state radius (ie: 4 to 6 hours or so), as she would like to see my new home and meet my new family. You would need to discuss that with her. From Eskie Rescuers: Ming is a courtesy post and the owner needs to be contacted with any questions about him. If you are seriously interested in adopting Ming, please complete ERU’s online adoption application at www.eskierescuers.org. This is for information gathering purposes only, and your application will be forwarded to the owner for her review and consideration.
