UPDATE: Fluff Fluff is now with ERU, and is in one of our loving foster homes getting the care and training he needs. He will be made available for adoption when he is ready.
Fluff Fluff could use some help! His owner recently passed away and he has found himself with no place to go in a couple weeks. He's used to living in a fairly quiet home with his owner and two cats. Unfortunately, family members cannot keep him due to restrictions in their development (they're already at the limit of dogs allowed per home). Fluff Fluff has been introduced to other dogs; he seems to get along fine with dogs smaller than him, but is fearful of larger dogs. It's unknown how he gets along with children. He warms up to adults, but this will take a few minutes.
He's a very healthy 14-year-old who was very well cared for and definitely doesn't show his age. He weighs 20 pounds, he's house trained, neutered, up-to-date on vaccines, and walks well on a leash. He's a sweet pup, who loved his mom immensely.
If you can give Fluff Fluff a home, he will become devoted to you in no time. He just needs time to decompress, and get used to his new home. If you happen to have another pup and live in the area, a meet-and-greet could probably be arranged. OR, if you're interested in fostering him for ERU Eskie Rescuers United, please let us know! Send an e-mail to: Cheryl@eskierescuers.org Fluff Fluff is located in New Port Richey, FL/Pasco County. Approximately 35 miles north of Tampa.

Good with Dogs, Good with Cats
Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.
If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers. There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
Eskie Rescuers United American Eskimo Dog Rescue, Inc. is an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Please click the donation button below to make a tax-deductible donation through PayPal and help make a difference to even one American Eskimo dog!
