Charlie is a very sweet and loving little boy that came to ERU when his Mom could no longer care for him. He is currently in a loving foster home while he gets the care he needs, and will be listed as available for adoption when he's ready.
He would love a fenced yard, but he's great on a leash and loves going for walks. He needs to lose a few pounds, so he's not quite up to taking long walks yet. He's a cuddler and will sit and watch tv with you, and will follow you around the house. He just wants to be with you.

If you have another dog in the house that's great, just as long as the dog isn't hyper. He loves the companionship of another dog, and he's just starting to learn to play with toys. He's good with kids, but they have to be respectful and treat him well. A home with older kids would probably be better for him.
Charlie loves to be brushed, and loves his bath time too.!

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
