Hello everyone!

My name is Peter and I have recently been rescued from a shelter in Denver, so I am searching for my new forever home!  As you can see, I'm just a baby, so you can expect me to act just like a puppy for a long time!  As you know, Eskies hold on to their puppy-hood as long as possible, so I'll be young and exuberant for quite a while.  What that means to people who might be interested in adopting me, is that you will have to be really patient with me while I am learning.  Oh, and I will need lots of training!  That will include housetraining, behavioral training, etc.  But it also means that we can learn this together and become the best of friends!

I think you should know that I love to chew things, so I hope any family that is interested in adopting me will have lots of toys for me to play with!  And don't be surprised if I decide to chew up your shoes, clothes, or whatever else I can get my puppy teeth on!  Take for example the leash in one of my photos.  That wasn't quite fair for them to get that picture of me chewing that leash...I wasn't prepared for that photo!  Oh well, at least you know what to expect!

You should also know that I have a LOT of energy, so I will want to play and play and play with you!  I hope you have lots of time to take me for walks and fun stuff...maybe the dog park!  Yeah!!  I also need to be neutered...whatever that means.  But that will be done before I go to my new home, so hopefully that will be soon!

Well, it was great to talk to you.  And maybe we will be able to meet soon...at my new home!   I'm sure I will get a bunch of interested families for me, so you better hurry up!!

Good with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
