UPDATE: 12/25/09 Titus is all Puppy, he is very high energy. He needs someone who understands eskie puppies. His adopter must be willing to take him to obedience school. He will make someone a fantastic dog if they can show him who is alpha in the home. He will try to buffalo you into thinking he is the boss. He loves other dogs who can put him in his place. Give him about two more years to settle down and out grow the puppy stage and he will be a fantastic companion. He has a very full and beautiful coat. He will make someone a great dog.

Titus was an owner surrender. He was purchased as a 12 wk old puppy from a non-AKC/UKC breeder. Neutered 3/6/09. Heartworm and flea preventative due 11th of each month.

Titus was an owner surrender, because he became highly fearful and reactive in his home with strangers and young children. Unfortunately his family had small children as guests in their home frequently and Titus was not reliable around them. Sadly Titus' breeder did not know enough about the breed to make sure he was socialized properly in his early puppy life, so Titus paid the price for that mistake. Since coming in to rescue with ERU Titus has been working on some specialized training to help him deal with his fears and become a more self confident pup. Self confident dogs do not feel the need to be fearful and reactive.

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
