Sweet Pandora was an owner surrender to a shelter in Ohio.  She quickly became a favorite of the shelter staff and volunteers because of her sweet and loving nature.  Unfortunately many weeks past and no one adopted her.  A kindly person noticed she was slated to be euthanized for lack of space at the shelter and contacted ERU.  Pandora is currently being boarded in Columbus, Ohio, but in a great facility, where she gets to play all day with doggie pals in a wonderful play yard.  Although she has spent some time in a home to assess her nature in a home setting.  She gets along well with other dogs, and cats.  She is a bit shy when she first meets new people, but overcomes that quickly with her desire for pets and attention.  Rotten food has caused the terrible tear stains under her eyes which makes her look old, but now that she is eating good food these will go away with time.  She has not made a single mess in her crate since she came in to boarding.  Pandora would love a home where she can get all the love and attention she has missed for so long.  Pandora is the sweetest and most loving of dogs.  She loves to cuddle and snuggle and gives wonderful Eskie kisses and even hugs.   Pandora loves to walk and does not pull excessively on her leash.  She loves to play with toys, but given reasonable exercise daily she is past the age where she gets the zoomies in the house.   She can enjoy just relaxing with her family.

Pandora's ONLY negative attribute at this point is that she is not totally house broken.  We think given her condition when she was dropped at the shelter that she was forced to live outside 24/7.  Housebreaking is really easy with a smart breed like Eskies, so she would learn this very quickly.

Pandora was just recently spayed, so she will be groomed and photographed as soon as the vet gives the final OK on Thurs. Aug. 27.  At this point we only have her horrible shelter photo which doesn't show her beauty and sweetness at all.

Won't you consider giving this sweet girl the loving forever home she deserves.

Good with Dogs, Good with Cats

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.

Eskie Rescuers United American Eskimo Dog Rescue, Inc. is an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Please click the donation button below to make a tax-deductible donation through PayPal and help make a difference to even one American Eskimo dog!
