Hello,  my name is Scapin and I'm looking for my new forever home.  When you first meet me, I will bark at you, but I'll be your best friend just a few minutes later.  Hey, I'm an eskie...that's what we do!  I definitely like to protect my people.  I am super sweet and love to have my belly rubbed!  Oh, and if you really want to get on my good side, feed me peanut butter...yummy!!

I am neutered and up-to-date on all my vaccinations, and I'm perfectly healthy!  I love to go for walks and play.  I am completely housetrained and even crate trained!  I always feel safe in my crate and that's the place where I love to sleep at night.  I'm very smart too!  If you tell me where I can and cannot go in the house, I listen and learn really quickly!  I'm good with other dogs and with cats...for some reason the cats aren't very fond of me, but I don't mind them at all!

Good with Dogs, Good with Cats

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
