  HI!  My name is Layla.     I was saved from a horrible life with a puppymill but my Eskie Angel whisked me and my sister (Luna) away.  Now we are looking forward to a life a fun, eating, and playing on green grass.

I am very adventurous and like the human touch.  I climb all over my foster mom because....well...because she lets me!     I am a lovable little girl and fall asleep in my foster mom's or foster dad's arms quickly.    I walk well with a harness but don't like a leash on my neck.  I'm kinda scared of that thing for some reason.

I am going to require a special family because my mom think's I'm so special.  You will have to have a nice secure fence because I love to run and play.  If you have another furry friend, that's even better.  I have been living with several other Eskie friends and I really love having playmates around me.    My sister, Luna, has already been adopted and although I"ll miss her, I know that there is a very special family out there for me too.

Good with Dogs, Not Good with Cats, Is Not Good with Kids

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
