Meet Casper & Sugar. These two gorgeous senior eskie girls were living in a home by themselves after their loving owner went into hospice. Neighbors and family members were visiting the dogs to help care for them for several weeks before we were notified. These sweet babies are now safe and sound at the Reskie Ranch near Baltimore. They were filthy and scared, but now they have settled in nicely, have had baths, ears and eyes cleaned, mats shaved out, brushed out, dentals, blood work, etc.
Casper is very overweight and about 11 years 3 months old and Sugar is about 9 years 8 months old. Sugar tested positive for Lyme and is being treated. She also had a large benign mass removed. Both are great with other respectful dogs, they love to explore their big yard, they are good with strangers, and they are just the most precious pumpkins.
We are hoping that both girls will get adopted together. More about Casper of MDGood with Dogs Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered).
