***Location: Machesney Park, IL*** So here's a funny story, my foster parents took me to the vet the other day to have me neutered. A couple of hours later, the vet called and said that I was already neutered. My foster mommy was surprised since all the previous records she has indicated I wasn't, and since some of us guys are really furry, it was hard to tell. So, I'm definitely fixed and ready to find my forever home!! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'm not quite sure how I got here, from what I'm told, someone left me tied to the front door of a vet's office in Bolingbrook, IL. They were looking for someone to adopt me and that's when ERU heard about me. No one knows how I lost my back leg, but it doesn't slow me down at all. My foster parents have discovered that I really, REALLY like my foster parents! :) When it's tv time, I'm either right at their feet or in their laps. While I can be ok the resident dogs, my foster parents think it would be best if I were an only dog. I tend to get jealous of other dogs when they get attention and I don't. And even though my foster family doesn't have cats, it would be best if I wasn't around them. If children are around, I'd rather they be the older teenage kind, smaller kids might be too much for me to handle. Because I'm missing a back leg, I shouldn't be taken jogging or exercised too much. If something were to happen to my remaining back leg, that would create problems for everyone, so let's just not go there. :) I would like a fended-in yard, though. Just like most eskies, I tend to get the "zoomies" once in a while, and a fenced yard will help contain my energy. I don't let a missing leg slow me down, my foster mommy says I'm super-duper fast! So here I am, ready and waiting for my forever home!! If you have any questions about me, please contact my foster parents, Al & Joanne: alfredrjohnson@gmail.com. Could I be the one for you?
