Eskie Rescuers United

Hi, my name is Cosmo, I am an 8 yr old American Eskimo dog and I am a calm laid back, polite kind of girl.  I am a little chubby because I love to be where things are peaceful and calm where I can be a lounger.  While I love to be petted and sit with you, I am polite and I won’t jump in your lap, I’ll just sit in front of you until you see me and ask me to jump in your lap or chair.

 

I also LOVE to go outside, I am a dedicated lizard hunter and will help keep those rascals under control.    I also give into my digging instinct at times, but I don’t do any damage, I just love a cool, shady spot when I am enjoying the outdoors. I also like a fence yard where I can safely roam and explore.

 

I’m a very sweet girl but if I am asleep or chilling, please call my name to wake me or before you reach out to pet me since I get startled easy, I might growl or nip a little if I am surprised, which is why I not crazy about little children. I don’t like thunderstorms or loud noises like those fireworks.

I have a brother named Sunshine that I love and we would love to stay together if possible.  Since our world suddenly changed recently when our father got really sick, we both need lots of love and attention, so we aren’t crazy about other fur kids stealing attention from our humans.  We it would be best if we were the only fur kids in the family.  We can bicker a little like any siblings will do, about who gets attention first or who has the tennis ball, but there’s no fighting.  We complement each other nicely since we have been together our entire lives, I like to oversee our space from a distance and Sunshine loves to be guardian, staying closer to our humans and making sure all is well.  I will admit that we do bark, but we are pure eskies, we alert on any loud noise or doorbell, even if it is on TV, but we make great little alarms and provide plenty of love and security.  So, if you need lots of Eskie love in your life, please consider adopting us, so we can all be one happy family.
