My foster mom calls me an enigma. I am the perfect companion for anyone who wants a laid back friend but will be more than happy to take a walk with you or take a drive. I am housetrained, get along with other dogs, I won’t jump on furniture unless invited, I know several basic commands and I am absolutely beautiful. Oh, and I am very quiet too! My foster mom had to ring her doorbell just to see if i DID bark! I did but that's the only time in almost a week! I love tummy rubs, too. So, how did someone like me get in a shelter that was going to end my life the very day I was discovered and rescued? The shelter guessed (and I do mean GUESSED) my aged to be 12. If I’m 12, then I’m a cat. It’s so hard to tell a dog like me it’s age but a kindly vet thought I was between 5 and 7 years old so we're going with a happy 6. But, hey, I go up and down a flight of stairs like a 2-yr old, so whatever my age…I’m in great shape. I do not play with toys, though. Maybe that’s a good thing because those cost money. I am totally content to lay by your side when you watch tv, use your computer, talk on the phone, or whatever. I will go outside but I don‘t stay long . I just want to be near you. Which is also part of the enigma. Am I afraid that you will leave me? Am I afraid that I will get lost again? The secret is held in my deep brown doe eyes and I’ll never tell. But if you give me chance, I promise to always love you and be with you as long as I live.
