Hi ~ I'm looking for someone to love me forever! I
like long walks on the beach, kibble by candlelight and sleeping til noon under
the ceiling fan.
I'm a great girl, I'm happy with everyone and love to play. I even like
to take a bath - but I hate that noisy thing called a "fur-drier!"
I can remember I was chained in a backyard and no one ever played with me
except a special young girl. One day I went home with her and I thought -
"Wow, this is great - I've found someone who will love me forever!"
I didn't know anything about something called college then - but she had to leave and
go there and they wouldn't let her take me. I tried to stay with her
family but soon I learned my beautiful fur was making people sick. After
a very long car ride, I came to live at my foster Mommie's with other fur buddies. They all came here just like me, 'cause they needed new homes, just
like me.
I'm extremely devoted and loyal, I'm intelligent and know how to sit, shake,
dance in circles and speak (but I don't do that very much). When I had to leave my other home, I
needed something to make me feel secure - it's my "woobie"
blanket. I need to have it to go to sleep. I put it between my
front paws and sometimes even a part of it in my mouth, then I can go to sleep.
Do you have a home and can you love me forever?

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.
If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers. There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
Eskie Rescuers United American Eskimo Dog Rescue, Inc. is an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Please click the donation button below to make a tax-deductible donation through PayPal and help make a difference to even one American Eskimo dog!
