Playmate! Come out and play with me! I'm a six year old neutered male Eskie that excels at playing and toy chasing. I've had a rough time of it and because of that I lost my sight in my left eye but that doesn't keep me from spotting that Frisbee! Once in a while I run into things but that's o.k.

My foster parents and I are working on commands - I know come, sit, how to shake, stay, and we are working on down and I think I will be able to walk on just my hind legs to show off. (can't help it I'm just so excited to play!). I still pull when I'm on the leash, because I like to sniff all those smells. I am house broken. I know how to use our doggy door and enjoy spending some of my time outside. I know not to get up on the furniture, but, I do sleep at the foot of the bed. I love to be groomed and I growl like a cat purrs when my belly is rubbed. I admit it, I like attention and give lots of love to my owner and never let her out of my sight when she is at home. I like the other dogs as playmates and kids are fun too as long as they mind their manners (throwing toys for me helps too!) but I'm not too sure about those strangers... Maybe a few treats and I'll warm up though.

Did
someone say CAR RIDE!! Let's go! The wind through my fur! what a life!  I like to swim, & go for kayak rides too.  But, I don't like it when people try to pick me up.

If this sounds like a life you would like to be a part of, please fill out
an application so we can get to it!

If you're interested in me and would like more information, please contact Lynne at: lynnefurmanek@yahoo.com You can also visit our website at www.eskierescuers.org and fill out an adoption application and learn more about our adoption process.

Thank you and WOOF!

Willie

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.

Eskie Rescuers United American Eskimo Dog Rescue, Inc. is an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Please click the donation button below to make a tax-deductible donation through PayPal and help make a difference to even one American Eskimo dog!
