Hi There! My name is Cody and I am about two years old. I was found wandering the streets, which was very frightening! I was thankful to be saved by a kind family who has taken care of me for several months. I have come a long way in that time, but I am still unsure of the changes in my life and I can be timid in new situation. I'm embarrassed to admit this, but I piddle myself sometimes because I'm just not sure if that hand is coming to pet or hit me. :(
I've done very well in my new home. I've even gone to doggie day care and have had a great time playing with dogs of all sizes and ages, but I'm not fond of the human pups that I live with. I think you call them "kids?" They move very quickly and are loud; I'm frightened by them and will growl and show my teeth if they come too close. In time, I may be able to come to like them, but not just yet. I would love to find a great place to settle into. I get along well with other dogs but I'm not sure if I've ever met a cat. I am housebroken save the submissive piddling, and most importantly, I'm a very handsome pup!! Won't you think of taking me home? I'll be at the Petco Adoption Event on Sunday, April 18th from 10a - 2p. The address is 1265 Sgt Jon Stiles Drive, Highlands Ranch, CO 80129. I hope that you'll stop by to meet me!
