Hi, Im Rocko,and my foster mom thinks I am the most handsome boy. I had a rocky start with my first home,I lived outside tied up,even in winter. My foster mom expected me to be a bit on the wild side, but I fooled her. She thinks Im a calmer,mellower eskie than most my age. I have my own yard now and a dog door and not tied up outside, I can come in anytime, and have been taking advantage of having a nice warm bed inside.I think Im enjoying myself. I have not had any accidents,nor have I chewed anything except my toys. With just a bit of obediance guidance, she says I will be one wonderful dog.I jump on people, and i dont like most male dogs. She says if that is the worst thing I do,Im a very nice boy. I am more than ready for a nice home preferably with a fenced yard, she thinks i had enough of being tied in the yard. I thank my mom with kisses every day..Rocko

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
