Hi everyone.  I'm Mitze and I have a wonderful temperament and, as everyone who has had me in their home says, I am no trouble at all.  I get along just fine although I do have hip displasia; I'm on a special diet and supplements and these help me tremendously.  Although I won't make a great jogging companion, if you have a mellow lifestyle then I am your girl.  I will stay by your side for love and gladly follow you from room to room and as you walk around your yard.  I used to be an outdoor only dog in GA.  My fur had to be shaved because I was so matted and I do have heartworms.  I am on the gentle method for treating heartwoms and should be free of those yucky things in a few more months.  I am getting my teeth cleaned tomorrow (8/10/10) and then I'll be ready for my forever home.  If you'd like to know more about me please contact my foster mommy Lenore at mommala99@yahoo.com

Good with Dogs, Good with Kids

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
