Hi! I'm Kimo Knievel! I used to live in a shelter, I don't remember before that. Then I was rescued by a wonderful man and loved him and he loved me for many years. But he got old and had to move to a nursing home. I'm now living with his granddaughter and she loves me, but along with her other dogs, there isn't enough attention to go around for all of us. The other dogs were there first so I need a new home and new people to love and to give me attention and to love me! I've got a lot of energy and love to play with the other bigger dogs all the time. You can see my energy in the video in this listing. I love to play fetch with my tennis ball. I am extremely smart and am learning new commands and tricks all the time. I love to go for rides in the car and sit very nicely in the back seat. My foster mom says I am an amazing little guy, who wants nothing more than to lay at your feet and take care of you, like I did for her grandpa over the past several years. Please, won't you consider me to be your very own? Thank you and WOOF! Kimo Knievel Foster mom's notes: Kimo is randomly nervous around small children under the age of 4 but is a wonderful little buddy to my friend's 9 year old daughter and follows her everywhere. He hates large, noisy trucks and motorcycles. He must have a fenced in yard because an invisible fence will not keep him from his love of chasing milk trucks. He gets along quite well with dogs and seems to have no concerns with cats. I would consider him docile - I can trim his nails with no fuss at all, and grooming and bathing him is very easy. I've routinely tested him in removing chew toys from his mouth, playing with his food while he's eating and have noticed no sign of aggression. However, with our other two dogs, he's greedy and will attempt to steal their treats and hide them until he's done with his own. He is a dream to walk and keeps a nice pace, right beside us with no tugging on the leash. He's very still and quiet at the vet. He's also very docile at the groomer. The groomer said that he's a "dog groomer s dream". He's a patient boy that deserves to have someone give him love and attention.
