I AM BEING FOSTERED IN OHIO!

Hey! Wait!! Don't go away...you clicked on to read about me so here goes (plus don't forget to look at the additional pics of me at the bottom of the page!):

My name is Piper and I'm kinda shy;
I was a puppymill girl, that's probably why.

But now I'm in foster and healthy & clean.
These people are nice...no one is mean!

I am very quiet... don't know how to play.
I just want a new home where forever I'll stay.

Please fill out the form to make me your own;
And I'll promise to love you (just give me a bone!) tee hee.

-------------

I'm not much of a poet so I'll give you more facts. I am rather shy and don't have a mean bone in my body. I'm learning how to accept kisses from my human but don't know how to return them except on her hand once in a while. I really love attention and run to my foster mom's side, especially when she's dishing it out to my foster brother.

I love my doggie treats and will jump and dance when they are being handed out. I will run outside if my foster brother starts running, but that's the extent of it. I really never learned how to play so a lot of energy from you isn't needed just to love me and keep me warm. My foster mom says I'm "low maintenance"...whatever that means.

Am I crate-trained? Well, I'll go in one but I really don't like it and will let you know it. My foster mom just gives me free reign of the house as I'm a real good girl. The kennel where I was rescued said that I was okay with cats too, although my foster mom doesn't have any.

I'm a VERY smart little girl and catch on very quickly. I'm quiet, young, very sensitive and all I ask is that you be gentle with me. Is that someone you?

If you're interested in me and would like more information, please visit our website, fill out an adoption application and learn more about our adoption process. You can also Email contact@eskierescuers.org and let us know about your interest in me. .

Thank you and WOOF!
Piper

Good with Dogs, Good with Cats

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.

Eskie Rescuers United American Eskimo Dog Rescue, Inc. is an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Please click the donation button below to make a tax-deductible donation through PayPal and help make a difference to even one American Eskimo dog!
