Ozzie is a 7 month old male Eskie mixed ball of energy. He has the Eskie head and tail but his fur is not white. He never stops until it is time to sleep. He thinks antagonizing the other dogs will win their hearts. They put up with him because of his endearing puppy ways. He weighs about 10 lbs and is in good health. No worms and no fleas. He was neutered about two weeks ago and is doing well from the surgery. The sutures need to be removed next week. He is too young to be on heartguard and Frontline so when he itches he gets a bath. He loves to play and is currently a fiend about running in the kitchen. He loves the other dogs and is facinated by the cats. Since they hiss at him he does not get to close. He is very energetic and friendly. He will do well with both children and adults. He is also very smart and has just about house trained himself. The only time he goes inside is when we fail to interpret his whine and body language. He lets you know what he wants each and every time. The only problem is that sometimes I can't figure out what he is telling me. He is a very smart and friendly guy who shows no fear of strangers, either people or animals. He enjoys running outside as well and loves a good roll in the grass. He also likes to roll in anything else and as a result needs a bath almost every day. He is learning to play fetch and enjoys his toys. He sleeps all night but at 5:00 am he is ready to start his day. Every one then has to get up to keep him company. If you are interested in me and would like more information, please contact my foster mom Susan at mcavoy2@msn.com you can also go to our website http://www.eskierescuers.org and fill out an application for me. Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state. |
