Larry's a winner!  Spunky, energetic, lovable, and  such a charismatic personality! He was well liked at the Humane shelter and one volunteer stated, " Just something about Larry that makes him so likeable and lovable."
 
Larry  is friendly toward strangers. He is good with cats and other dogs.  He gets along great with my 8 yr old Granddaughter, and sure it would hold for other children too.   
 
Larry will require exercise and play since he is so active.  He's very smart and clever and catches on very quickly to new situations.  He does well riding in a car and loves to ride with his head out the window.  Leash walking he is fair to good since he needs to be reminded 'that I'm not a boxcar he's pulling!'  He responds nicely when reminded but then quickly gets derailed.  I'm sure with more walking and coaching he will do fine on walks.

He is up-to-date on all medical shots and tests.  He was neutered Jan. 3. 2011, and should be ready for adoption starting around Jan. 10, 2011.   
 
Larry is a sure hit for the Family that adopts this winner!

Good with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
