Hi everyone.  I am beautiful, sweet, submissive Ruby.  I have been owned by the same family for 12 years, since I was a puppy, and have been loved and properly cared for my whole life.  My mommy died of cancer and my daddy had to sell his home and move to a place where he could not take me.  I am very mellow and the perfect indoor dog.  I love to be wherever my foster mommy is, and when she goes outside I do the same.  I am great with other dogs, with cats, with children and with strangers.  Won't you please consider adopting me so I can live out the rest of my years in a safe happy home.  I did test positive for Lyme and have started antibiotics.  ERU will pay to have me tested again in six months.  If you would like more information about me please e-mail my foster mommy Heidi at hortmeye@gmail.com

Good with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
