Hi everyone! I am tiny (mini), sweet, adorable Madeline. I just arrived in Maryland from a shelter in Philadelphia. I was an owner surrender to the shelter because my previous owners had too many animals. They told the shelter workers that I am good with children, men, women, cats and dogs. So far my foster mommy can attest to the statement that I am good with dogs and I have met several new people today and I have been a very good girl. I am very comfortable meeting new women and children but it does take me some time to warm up to men. I am sitting on my foster mommy's lap now and we only just met! My owners also told the shelter workers that I had an injury to my back legs so I will have an x-ray done to see how much damage there is but I already went on a walk today and I didn't have any trouble. If you are interested in meeting me please e-mail my foster mommy Tara at tarabenedetto@gmail.com Update: I had x-rays and I do have a plate/pins on my left thigh. My foster mommy is making sure I get lots of omega fatty acids and other supplements to keep my joints working right as I get older. I am not in any pain - I go up and down stairs and love to go for long walks. Whoever adopts me will just need to keep an eye on my leg and be mindful that I did have an injury as a puppy.
