PAXTON HAS AN ADOPTION PENDING
Hi, my name is Paxton, or Pax, or Paxy or ‘hey you’ and I’m a mini American Eskimo. Wow…life is great, especially since I came into my foster mommy’s house. I was found completely covered in burrs and placed in a shelter. It looked like I’d been out on my own a very long time, but my past is quite the secret! Once all the burrs were removed from my coat, I was almost bald! My pink skin was perfectly visible! But you should see my coat now! It’s growing in luxuriously! I have lots of puppy energy and tell my foster mommy when I have to go potty. But outside of being housetrained and crate trained (can you believe it?), I sure could use some obedience training (you can qualify for a rebate from the rescue if you take me to training!) I get so easily distracted but I have that Eskie desire to please which makes me a perfect candidate for training! My foster mommy tells me she loves pups like me ‘cause I show her how much I appreciate being rescued. I love when she loves on me and can’t keep my little self still. I’m very playful but need to be trained not to nip when I play. I love squeaky toys, I just love the way I can make them squeak! When it comes to kids, I do love them, but since I still nip when playing, kids should be at least 10 years old. The vet thought I was ‘da bomb’. ‘Too cute’ is what they called me! They checked me all out and found that I am heartworm negative and I received all my shots! I am on preventatives so I’ll stay healthy and pest free! I am being treated for watery eyes and they are improving wonderfully! I’m a very happy boy, young, lots of energy, I want to please you, and can be all that you want to patiently train me to be!
