**** I am located in Maryland *****

Well hello there. If you are looking for a good-natured, mature, low-maintenance, loving friend then I am your man. My name is Marley and I am a super-duper well-behaved dog. I love to follow my foster-mommy everywhere and am content just to curl up by her while she is reading, watching the tube, playing the guitar or working on the computer. I love to ride in her truck and to go for long walks. I play fetch! The first time I retrieved a ball and dropped it by my foster-mommy's feet she almost fainted. I guess none of her other fur-balls have ever done that. I get along fine with my three fur-brothers. I am housebroken and hardly ever bark. I am hard of hearing but I try my best to figure out what my foster-mommy wants from me and then I am happy to do it. My foster-mommy tells me all the time that I am no trouble with a big smile on her face.

BARCS (Baltimore Animal and Rescue Care Shelter) found me in a back yard in November. I didn’t have hair on the lower half of my body, my nails were so long it was hard to walk and I had several teeth that needed to be removed. Thanks to my friends at ERU my hair is growing back nicely, I can walk and run, my teeth have been cleaned and I feel so much better! I am ready to start my new life with my fur-ever family. Will that be you?

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.

Eskie Rescuers United American Eskimo Dog Rescue, Inc. is an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Please click the donation button below to make a tax-deductible donation through PayPal and help make a difference to even one American Eskimo dog!
