Dixie will be going to my father in law's home to live. His grandson is moving out and taking his dogs with him. Grandpa was worried about being alone without a companion. As Dixie comes from a home as an only dog with a senior master, this is a good fit. It also allows us to continue to watch over her. Should the events turn out to where she outlives grandpa, she comes back to us.
