Hi my name is Winnie and I need a home that will make me feel safe and loved.

My original family got a divorce and although I was really attached to the man I ended up staying with the woman. She tried hard to find a home for me and then her parents got sick and she could not take me with her.

ERU was contacted and they had an adopter in the same city so I went to him as a foster to adopt. He is a really nice man but he works a lot and I have a huge problem with separation anxiety.

I am friendly with all people including kids and cats. I love to go on walks and am up to date on all my vaccinations and am HW negative. I also love to ride in the car. Meeting new people I can be a bit shy but warm up quickly.

I am only five years old and so want to find my furever family so I can show all the Eskie love I have to give to a furever person.

Right now I am located in Charlotte, NC but am needing to find a new home soon. Do you have time to give me the love and attention I need? If so contact Roxanne at jdr@frontiernet.net and she will get you in touch with me.

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.

Eskie Rescuers United American Eskimo Dog Rescue, Inc. is an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Please click the donation button below to make a tax-deductible donation through PayPal and help make a difference to even one American Eskimo dog!
