Hi there!  My name is Chance.   I am sooooo soft you can’t help but pet me and that's good because I love being loved on.  I am a typical eskie:  good looking, lovable, smart but yet cautious with strangers (especially men) until I know they are friendly.  I will bark a bit but that is to let you know that someone new is around.

I am neutered, up to date with my vaccinations, and have a monthly regimen of heartworm, flea and tick medication. I am house trained, and have an electric fence that I love because I have so much room to play in but stay safe in the yard. I am very well trained on the leash, too.   I don’t pull my owner when she takes me on walks or when we go to the pet store to buy a treat.

I like kids, but not young ones because I just don’t know what they are going to do, pet me or accidently pull my hair.  They make me nervous.   But older kids are great because they like to play with me and I definitely love playing fetch!  I take my treat very nicely too. I like to sleep at the end of a bed, or in my bed or in a corner somewhere. My present owners treat me like a prince but unfortunately, I have to go because our family environment has changed with two little boys in the house that I feel kind of insecure having around. So my mom has explained that it would be best to keep me happy by finding a new forever home.

My only fault is I tend to hesitate when it comes to jumping up onto things like beds, or into a tall vehicle. You see, I might have been hit by a car before I came to live with my present owners and the accident dislodged my leg from my hip and now I have formed a false hip right above the hip socket. It doesn’t cause me any pain and I can still run, but I am afraid of cars and need coaxing to jump up on things. The vet told me that as long as it doesn’t cause me any pain or have any effect on my quality of life that I don’t need to do anything about it. So other than that, I am quite healthy.

I would love to find a home with another dog to play with and be a companion.  They can even be the alpha!   And a fenced yard is my preference, of course.  Anyway, I can’t wait to meet you and finally find my new forever home.

Please contact Anna at awende2008@gmail.com  for more information or if you think you have my perfect home!
