Help, I need somebody,
Help, not just anybody,
Help, you know I need someone, help.

When I was younger, so much younger than today,
I never needed anybody's help in any way.
But now these days are gone, I'm not so self assured,
Now I find I've changed my mind and opened up the doors.

Help me if you can, I'm feeling down
And I do appreciate you being round.
Help me, get my feet back on the ground,
Won't you please, please help me?

And now my life has changed in oh so many ways,
My independence seems to vanish in the haze.
But every now and then I feel so insecure,
I know that I just need you like I've never done before.

Help me if you can, I'm feeling down
And I do appreciate you being round.
Help me, get my feet back on the ground,
Won't you please, please help me.

This was pretty much my theme song for quite a while. See I was found as a stray with my friend Milo. Milo found his forever home but I am still waiting for mine. I have been in foster care for almost a year now. I know I don’t really look like the rest of these eskies. Heck how could they leave me at the shelter to be euthanized and take my buddy Milo? Think of me as a short haired eskie. :-) My temperament is the same as eskies. I am very Velcro and want to be with you all the time. Look at it this way, I just don’t have all that long hair which means less grooming. I don’t get all the knots in my fur that the long hair eskies get. I am very sweet, great with other dogs. I am protective of my family. I don’t make any messes in the house. I don’t get into trouble. I am very food motivate, which means I would be very easy to train to do tricks. I will do almost anything for a treat. Wont you please, please help me…………please??

Good with Dogs

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.

Eskie Rescuers United American Eskimo Dog Rescue, Inc. is an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Please click the donation button below to make a tax-deductible donation through PayPal and help make a difference to even one American Eskimo dog!
