I don't know what I did to deserve the fate that was given me but my owner drove me to a busy traffic area, stopped and drop-kicked me out into the street. Luckily, people ran to my rescue before I was hit by a passing car, but they thought I was already dead. I wasn't...just rather surprised and stunned. They ran me to the vet and another rescue before I was sent to Eskie Rescuers who knew my breed and would treat me for my heartworms. Maybe that is why I was thrown-away? Because of worms?? Hi, my name is Ellie. I am no trouble at all and will wag my tail just by you looking at me! So...my tail is always wagging, really. I have a little stiffness in my back legs when I wake up but I'm taking some glusomine to help that. I am also under heartworm treatment (the slow-kill method ERU is so successful with). I want to get well so that I can live a long happy life with a family that really WANTS me and won't throw me away again. If you can open your heart to a little sweetheart like me, then let my foster mom know or just fill out an application for me. I will wag my tail for you for just a few sweet words.
