Update (9/5): Nadia had her teeth cleaned and 13 teeth removed! She is doing great, loves her daily walks, has a great appetite for food and life! Update: Nadia's blood work showed elevated renal values so she will be continuing on antibiotics and started taking epakitin powder. We'll recheck her values in 2-3 weeks. If her values improve we will be able to have her dental work done. In the meantime she is the sweetest little girl, she follows me everywhere wagging her tail the whole time. I know she is thankful to be alive and in a home where she is loved and appreciated. This sweet baby was found as a stray in Kentucky. The eskie railroad got her safely to Maryland. The shelter labeled her as a neutered male (and named "him" Stormy) but lo and behold, once we removed her matts (she could barely walk), bathed her and brushed her out we noticed something was missing :) Nadia is a tiny little girl, very precious and frail. She has wonderful house manners. Nadia is having trouble eating, even soft food; I am sure she'll need dental care and blood work. Our goal is to get her stronger before she has any procedures done. She'll be visitng the vet on Sunday (8/5).
