*** New Brighton, PA ***:

Hi!

One day I was sitting by the side of the road trying to figure out what to do when a nice lady stopped to check on me.  I was so happy to see someone I ran right up to her!  I didn't have any ID tags on so she took me home to see if she could locate my family.

The nice lady tried real hard to find my owner but it seemed no one was looking for me :(  She then contacted ERU so they could help me find a great home!

I'm a really sweet guy who loves everybody.  Even cats!  I also get along well with children. I really just want to play with anybody who's interested.  I was even playing at the vet's office!

I'm sorta still a puppy and I have a LOT of energy.  That's how I got my name!  I bounce all over!  I need a family who is ready for a highly active dog.  I bet I'd be great at something like agility training or flyball!

I've only been with my foster Mom and Dad for a few days so they're still learning about me.  I do like to jump on chairs and counters.  I'm trying to work on that here but it'd be great to go to an obedience class.  I also get car sick.  My poor tummy just doesn't know how to handle all that movement!

Stay tuned for more pictures.  Foster Mom says it's really hard to get good pictures of me because I'm always on the move!

If you're interested in me and would like more information, please contact Cheryl: cherilynn@petrochko.com. You can also visit our website You can also visit our website and sign-up to fill out an adoption application and learn more about our adoption process. Thank you and WOOF!  Tigger of PA

Good with Dogs, Good with Cats, Good with Kids

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.

Eskie Rescuers United American Eskimo Dog Rescue, Inc. is an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Please click the donation button below to make a tax-deductible donation through PayPal and help make a difference to even one American Eskimo dog!
