I was rescued from death from a shelter in Los Angeles County because they said I was nippy. I was there too long---even 1 night in a place like that is a long time for a young pup like me.  You see, I was really anxious in there.  I was waiting for my family to come and get me... I came in as a stray. They never did. 


Today I ran around the yard and even barked at the Edison man. I make sure to let my Foster Mom know if something is going on.  I am a good loving dog--I think I was just misunderstood. 


But now am with 3 other dogs that look kind of like me!  See how handsome I am? Will you be my new family? I have it pretty good right now with my Foster Mom, I won't lie.  But I know that there will be another pup like me that she will need to help out.
Note from Foster Mom:  This charming little guy will melt your heart!  He has excellent manners and seems very knowledgable about obedience commands.  Johnny aims to please his human and very loving and cuddly.  I have not seen ANY nipping or other bad behavior in him at all.  I think that the nipping he displayed in the shelter was pure stress/anxiety.

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
