Hello! Let me introduce myself to you. My name is Patti! I was named in honor of my foster mom’s best friend. She had some rough turns in her life but things are looking pretty good for her now, just like they are for me too! I am an easy care, medium coat American Eskimo about 10 years old.
My personality is of the utmost: I am demure and companionable! My sultry voice will tell you that! Spending time close to you is what I want to do. To say the least, I love being around people and human contact is very important to me. My background as a stray, and three months at an animal shelter, does not give much information about me, but my foster parents say I’m a lady and always do my business outside. I do love lots of attention and I enjoy going out in the back yard.
Walks are especially great and I never pull on the leash. After a long walk I feel so energized. Play is fun and relaxing and is a great past time too. I’m getting along well with my dog brothers and sister and we visit the local dog park to meet new dogs too! My favorite spot now is resting on the rug by the computer where my foster mom or dad work. Oh-- the vet looked at my eyes and said I was a bit nearsighted, but that many dogs my age are and not to worry. It doesn't bother me at all!
If you have any questions, please contact my foster mom Katy at: george07ce@yahoo.com or just fill out an application for me! I would wuf you furever!

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.
If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers. There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
Eskie Rescuers United American Eskimo Dog Rescue, Inc. is an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Please click the donation button below to make a tax-deductible donation through PayPal and help make a difference to even one American Eskimo dog!
