Probably Husky and White Shepherd Mix
UPDATE: Dec 29th
Joe is fine with older children. I would still say "no" to toddlers or any children Joe out weighs. Joe just doesn't understand he is not a five pound Pomeranian. Joe really enjoys the company of the other dogs and a companion dog nearer to his size would make a wonderful playmate. Joe wouldn't do well where he was alone most of the day while his family was at work. In the bright sunlight Joe looks pure white. His actual coloring is shown more accurately in the head shot. Joe is an all American Heinz 57 boy. Best guess is white Shepherd, Husky and perhaps yellow Labrador. There may be a pinch of Eskie in him. Joe is a gentle dog. He has never met a stranger. He loves to stand up and hug whomever he meets. I'm teaching him "off" but he still likes giving hugs more than he does listening to me. He is not frantic in any way so people who love the soft hugs can encourage it if they want to. There are five Eskies here and Joe has fit well into the pack. He is not alpha and has only had his patience tried once with a young, intact male. His response was just an annoyed soft growl. The peskie Eskie backed off. Joe has seen my cats and would say "hello" but I think his size startles them. I do trust him with my cats. Children: I'm saying "no" to small children due to Joe's size and joy in everything he sees and does. A small child or anyone unsteady on their feet would be knocked over with one of Joe's hugs. His leash training is still in the "How fast can I tangled you up" stage so dedicated training is needed there. Joe rides well in the car although he is secured in the back. Joe doesn't want to miss anything so would like to be in my lap helping me drive.
