Hello!  My name is Oreo and I have found myself looking for a new family.  I’m a really good boy, very curious about what’s going on around me!  I love to inspect and check everything out…it’s so much fun!  I am well behaved and a very sweet boy just looking for some love and attention in my life.    

My foster home has other dogs and cats and I get along really well with the dogs.  I’m okay with the cats but I do get a little obsessed with them so sometimes my foster family has to tell me to stop obsessing with them.  It would probably be okay for my new home to have cats, but you might have to keep a close eye on me.  I do my best to behave around them.

When I first meet new people I get a little nervous, but it doesn’t take me long at all to warm up.  Then I’ll be your best friend!   I ride okay in the car, although I like to walk all around the car so it’s hard to keep me quiet.  With a little more practice riding around, I should be perfect! 

All I want for Christmas is to find my new family!  I have so much love to give and I’m really excited to share my life with my family.  I will love you forever!   If you are interested in me, the first step is to fill out the adoption application to get the process started.  I hope I hear from you soon!

Good with Dogs

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
