*** New Brighton, PA ***:

Hi!

My name is Fozzie.  I was found as a stray with my buddy Kiwi in West Virginia.  We're both about the same age and we do everything together!

I can be a little shy at first but once I warm up I'm a really cuddly little guy.  I want to be around my people and get pets all the time!

When I first got to my new foster home, I was really nervous.  There are a lot of other dogs here and I was scared!  I even found a part of the fence I could squeeze under and got out.  It took me about a week to really settle in and to learn that everything was all right.  Foster mom says that I have to be watched close when I'm outside at first until I get comfortable in my new home.

I'm so adorable that foster mom finds it hard not to pet me!  I like to cuddle up to her and foster dad on the bed at night.  I'm little and don't take up too much room!

Since I'm young I have a lot of energy.  I really like to wrestle and play with Kiwi!  Foster mom is going to post a video of us playing.  I haven't had any training so an obedience class would really help me out.  Foster mom says that training will probably make me more confident and less shy too!

I'm a little skinny so foster mom is trying to get me to gain a pound or two.

There's also a kitty here that I don't mind having around.  I actually kind of ignore him!

Kiwi is my best buddy and I would really like to go to a new home with her.  I understand that finding someone who wants to adopt 2 dogs is kind of hard so I may have to go at it alone.

If you're interested in me and would like more information, please contact Cheryl: cherilynn@petrochko.com. You can also visit our website and sign-up to fill out an adoption application and learn more about our adoption process.
Thank you and WOOF! Fozzie

Good with Dogs, Good with Cats

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.

Eskie Rescuers United American Eskimo Dog Rescue, Inc. is an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Please click the donation button below to make a tax-deductible donation through PayPal and help make a difference to even one American Eskimo dog!
