I am a handsome gentleman of 8 years old, but in Eskie years, that’s not much. You should see how I can jump! I’m a pretty energetic guy, but I’m well behaved- I ask to go outside and walk really well on my leash. The other dogs here at my foster home are pretty rambuncious, but I like them fine and play with them when I’m not in my den. One is pretty much a puppy, a furry ping-pong ball, and the other one likes to be the boss, but that’s all good- I’m just a mellow guy that’s happy to spring into action when it’s time to go outside.
I do like my private time though. I can’t talk about it, and no one knows why, but I am just a shy guy, and like to take my time to get to know you. If someone gets too close and I don’t know them, I like to run to my “den”- whether thats a bed, a table, or a coffee table. My foster “mom” is really nice- I’ll wait for her to call me and when she gets home I am just so excited to see her. She keeps saying how impressed she is, and can’t believe that a catch like me would even be in a foster home. The other guy is cool too, but I haven’t gotten to know him too well just yet. Women look much nicer than men to me, but I’ll go for walks with anybody- I just love being outside! Occasionally I’ll test him out and ask for a pet during walks. I haven’t been around too many kids- but I walk past them and mind my own business. Maybe, since I’m shy, little kids that don’t understand that I need to take things slow are better for later, once I’m sure I’m really staying somewhere for good.
I would really love to find a place where I can settle in and really make myself at home. I’ve been shuffled around a lot lately, and really want to stay put somewhere stable for the next 5 or 10 years of my life. I think I’d like a home with a nice lady in it, and since it gets lonely during the day, other dogs my size would be nice to play with, though I can entertain myself. A true gentleman like myself would never pee on your stuff or chew up your bedspread. A nice den, a bowl for fresh water and something soft to remind me of you is all I need. When you come home I’ll reward you with a happy tail and maybe kisses too! If this is you, please come find me. I can’t wait to get to know my furever family.
