Rudy is a young, sweet boy that found his way loose on streets in Ohio. He had a broken leg when pulled from shelter. He needs time to heal at vets and will be ready to adopt in a few weeks.
He just came to rescue and will update as soon as I learn more. .  I am guessing that he was hit by a car by the looks of his leg.  He is very friendly!  He has been around cats all day long and does not seem to notice.  He has the cutest 'yodel' /howl/woo woo bark!  I think he will make someone a nice companion, but someone that can let him run and play alot.  I am guessing that he was not given much structure to his manners.  He is a busy little fellow. He is a bit of a free spirt and does not have a mean bone in his body. A very active boy.   He is such a happy boy. Hard to get good pics of him because he is a busy little guy! Rudy may need a obedience class. He may be ready to adopt around the end of June, so if interested please fill a online adoption application. Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
