Hi, I'm Dolce and I'm looking for a loving home.  I use to have a good life and then I fell on hard times for a while.  I'm in a foster home right now and it's much like my first home that had loved me very much.  I am fully housebroken and love to play with squeaky toys.  Especially if you throw them for me, I'll go get them for you.  I get along great with the 7 yr old boy in the house.  I am a standard sized American Eskimo who needs to put on some weight.  My normal weight should be around 25 lbs.  I am a little scared about some things that remind me of my "hard times", but with some love, I will get my confidence back.  I haven't seen a cat at my new foster home to know if I like them or not.  My foster mom says I have such a sweet disposition that she doubts cats would bother me.  Check back soon for more info on me as my "servants" get to know me better.

Good with Dogs, Good with Kids

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
