This lovely and shy eskie girl was rescued from a horrendous hoarding situation in TN with her siblings Barbie, Kelly and Twister. Winnie is remarkably healthy and loving considering her background. Winnie's blood work was perfect and she is scheduled for a dental cleaning on July 15th. Winnie is very shy and frightened of new situations/people but learns to trust very quickly. Winnie tested negative for heartowrm, Ehrlichia, Lyme and Anaplasmosis. The girls don't know how to walk on a leash but I believe with patience and time Winnie will learn. If you are interested in meeting this precious one please e-mail Heidi at hortmeye@gmail.com
These girls were taken to safety, along with many other dogs, before animal control confiscated the remaining animals (http://www.lebanondemocrat.com/story/breaking-news-man-faces-animal-cruelty-charge). Thanks to all the rescue groups that pitched in to save these precious souls. More about Winnie of PAGood with Dogs Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered).
