Oh my---  I don't mean to brag, but I'm a gorgeous boy.   My coat is nice and thick, and so nice to look at!  And my personality is a winner too!  I'm happy, play well with other dogs, and had such a loving owner! I guess sometimes things don't work out, and the landlord decided that dogs aren't OK anymore.

I love my humans!  Wherever you go, I'll follow.  I love lots of pets and affection, and will ask you for them. I like to talk to you and let you know what's going on in my life. I'll snuggle with you, give you lots of Eskie smiles, and love my doggie treats!  At 27 pounds, I might love them too much, or I could be a really muscly guy, but either way, I think it's best for me to get lots of exercise.  There's 4 other dogs to play with here, and I really like it, but I'm sure if it's just you and me you'll take me on long walks or trips to the dog park!  I like everyone-  kids (even babies), adults, and most dogs-  sometimes I can be unsure about the bigger ones or dogs who like to be mean.  I haven't met any cats, but I like to bark at small furry things and birds.

I'm also good in my crate and never ever guard my food bowl, though I have been known to not want to share my bone if I'm busy chewing on it... I just love snacks so! I'm pretty excited to go on walks, so I have a harness-  super awesome on those hiking trails! I'm working on better manners and only pulling when I'm told it's OK.  I've always lived in the mountains, so I love snow too. When it's time to go for a ride, I'm so excited! I can't wait to have more adventures. It's pretty rare that I leave your side, but when you call me I'm there! Right now I have a big fenced yard and a doggy door, but I go where I'm told when it's time to play outside.

I'm only 2 years old, and have been lucky enough to have always had a loving place to live, so I look forward to every day without hesitation!  I guess you could say I live life to the MAX! I'd love to find a place where I can play a lot, and be the happiest dog alive.  WHEN INQUIRING & APPLYING FOR ME BE SURE TO SPECIFY MAX #2.

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.

Eskie Rescuers United American Eskimo Dog Rescue, Inc. is an IRS-approved 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Please click the donation button below to make a tax-deductible donation through PayPal and help make a difference to even one American Eskimo dog!
