Hi, I have recently become in need of a new forever family. I am a small gentle girl. I love to be with humans. I get along with other animals, but cats are somewhat new. I am obedient and deserving of a new forever home. My previous human is very sick and can't care for me any longer, I didn't do anything wrong.

I just had a dental so my teeth are in good shape, and I also just got spayed so there will be no puppies.

It has been discovered that I do have a touch of arthritis in my spine. At this time is isn't bothering me. It has been suggested that I should not live where there are steps, maybe 3 or 4 small porch steps is ok but no multiple level homes.

They first thought my arthritis bothered me but it was just that it took me so long to get comfortable. Now I am very comfortable, there are dogs here that I play with, there is a cat here that I really need to play with but he just ignores me and it isn't fair that he won't play with me. I do better with an active lifestyle, because just like humans with arthritis, the more sedentary life I lead the more stiff I feel.

Good with Dogs

Whenever possible Eskie Rescuers United tries to adopt out its dogs locally (or at least to adopters in adjoining states to where I'm being fostered). Please note that ERU processes LOCAL adoption applications before considering those from out of state.

If I'm not local to you, as explained above, and you really have your heart set on me, you will have to make special arrangements so ERU can get me to you safely (for example, flying me to you at your own expense, or paying a transport group to drive me to you). Note: We may ask that you to make a donation to cover transport costs if the distance is great and we have trouble finding transport drivers.

There is an adoption fee required; and, please be aware, Eskie Rescuers United will not adopt out its dogs as outdoor dogs.
